Make a Felt Board and Story (update: this workshop is FULL but there is space on the waitlist)

WHERE: Sunshine Coast Botanical Gardens, Sechelt
In this workshop, we will explore how to tell stories using felt boards. Each participant will make their own portable felt board, along with one or two felt stories. We will provide all the supplies.
All child care professionals are welcome. Snacks and drinks provided.

Do you Need your First Aid Certification /Re-Certification? We’re are offering a free Emergency Child Care First Aid course.

The Sunshine Coast Child Care Workforce Community of Practice
The Sunshine Coast CCRR Program is bringing back our Child Care Community of Practice! This ongoing gathering will be a chance for child care professionals to come together, engage with each other, work through challenges, and draw on each other’s expertise. Our goal is to create shared inquiries (questions and queries about issues that are important to us), and then work through them as a group. We will also share our successes!
Sessions will take place on the last Thursday of every month, from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Email the CCRR to register and receive online links.

In-Centre Early Learning Framework Learning Circles
Are you interested in discussing ideas on how to incorporate BC’s Early Learning Framework into your own child care program? The CCRR is offering on-site learning circles for all of our Sunshine Coast care providers, big and small. We will come to you—we can even visit you during a regular staff meeting.
