Affordable Child Care Benefit (Child Care Subsidy)

The Child Care Subsidy program is now called the Affordable Child Care Benefit . This program is internet-based and will be much faster and easier to apply for and manage. The link below will provide a step by step process for applying for the benefit.

You may be eligible for child care subsidy if you meet one of the following criteria:
- Employed or self-employed
- Attending an educational institution or enrolled in distance education
- Seeking employment and participation in an employment-related program
- Have a medical condition that interferes with your ability to care for your child(ren)
- Have a child attending a licensed preschool
- Have been referred by a Ministry of Children and Family Development or Delegated Aboriginal Agency social worker
