Licence-Not-Required (LNR) Registration

An LNR childcare is defined as an individual providing child care in his or her place of residence. The LNR child care provider may care for no more than two children or one sibling group at any one time. This is in addition to the LNR care provider’s own children.
According to BC law, individuals who wish to care for three or more children must apply for a licence with their local health authority.
